Cascina Borgofrancone, nestled within the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve, is a historic farmhouse immersed in the unspoiled green countryside on the shores of Lake Como, just one hour by car from Milan.
Thanks to its exceptionally mild climate, the property is open all year round. The agriturismo offers around 40 beds, distributed across rooms and apartments surrounded by a three-hectare garden.
On-site, you’ll find Il Ristorante del Borgo, a wellness center, a tennis court, meeting rooms, and farmland used for agricultural production.
Cascina Borgofrancone is committed to key principles of eco-sustainability, making use of a photovoltaic system, partially wood-based heating, and cultivating certified organic land.
The 27-hectare estate stretches to the northernmost tip of Lake Como, near the towns of Colico, Bellano, Varenna, Bellagio, and the main ski resorts of Valtellina and Valchiavenna.
Within the Pian di Spagna Nature Reserve, you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities such as birdwatching, water sports, trekking, or simply walking and running along a long sandy beach—right where the Adda River flows into Lake Como.

It’s an elegant rustic space, featuring a cozy stone room with a fireplace for more intimate lunches and dinners, a larger dining hall overlooking the park, and a spacious veranda with a wooden roof nestled in the garden. The restaurant can accommodate up to 200 guests.
The kitchen uses organic vegetables and fruits grown on the estate, offering both traditional dishes from the Valtellina and Lake Como regions, and creative interpretations crafted by the culinary team. All pasta is handmade on-site.
